‘LITTLE HECTOR’
Designer and Maker
‘Little Hector’ is a small rod puppet created in collaboration with musician ‘Hector Who Lived’ as a puppet version of himself to perform alongside him at his album release show at Circomedia, Bristol in Nov 2025, as well as an upcoming music video.
I made him over 3 weeks on a very limited budget, using left over second hand material, upholstery foam, papier mache and acrylic paints.
Little Hector can be puppeteered by 2-3 people, and has ball joints on the shoulders and hips to allow for extra funky dance moves. The performance involved improvised dancing throughout the set.
